Chris Collins and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership Tour Precision Manufacturing in Hamburg
(Lancaster, NY) – Yesterday, small business owner Chris Collins joined Buffalo Niagara Partnership President Andrew J. Rudnick for a tour of Precision Manufacturing in Hamburg, NY. Chris Collins is the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s endorsed candidate for the 27th Congressional District.
“This election is about jobs, and I have spent my career creating and saving them,” said Collins. “My background is in small business, companies similar to Precision Manufacturing, that provide good paying jobs for hundreds of families here in Western New York. The support of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership is recognition of my experience in the private sector, as well as my commitment to pro-growth policies as a member of Congress.”
“Especially in this time of continuing economic uncertainty, we need our representatives at all levels of government that understand the impact, negatively and positively, government actions and in actions have on employers,” said Andrew J. Rudnick, President and CEO of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. “Chris Collins’ successful record in both business and county government clearly shows he has that understanding. That, plus his stance on national employer and business development issues, has earned him the Partnership’s support and endorsement.”
“As the owner of a manufacturing company, my goal is to run the business in a way where outside influences do not have a major impact on the business and our decision making,” said Bernie Switzer, President of Precision Manufacturing group in Blasdell, NY. “However, increased regulations and taxes make that goal exceedingly more difficult to maintain. We need more elected officials who understand what it takes to run a business, maintain a strong and well trained workforce, and grow a company so we can offer our employees more opportunities.”
Chris Collins continues to tour businesses throughout the 27th Congressional District, hearing concerns from many small business owners. In addition to the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, and the Credit Union Association of New York have endorsed Chris Collins.
