(Lancaster, NY) – Today, small business owner Chris Collins was endorsed by the Credit Union Association of New York, the official state trade association for New York State’s credit unions.
“I am honored to have the support of the Credit Union Association of New York. As someone who has spent the past 36 years in the private sector, creating or saving over 500 jobs here in Western New York, I understand that growing small business is the key to getting our economy back on track,” said Collins. “Credit unions provide small business men and women with crucial financial support, allowing them to invest in their companies and create the jobs we need to grow this economy.”
“We are pleased to support Chris Collins, who like credit unions, realizes how important helping small businesses is to the creation of new jobs, which is essential given the economic challenges this country continues to face,” said William J. Mellin, CEO of the Credit Union Association of New York. “We believe Chris Collins will be a great addition to our New York Congressional delegation and look forward to working with him after he is elected.”
Chris Collins continues to have the support of small business organizations. In addition to the Credit Union Association of New York, Chris Collins has been endorsed by the US Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business, the Associated Builders and Contractors and the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors.
